THE PRISONER IN 'REGULAR UPDATE' SHOCKER!
I'm just trying to avoid doing the essay i've gotta do, s'due in next tuesday and i've done 200 words out of 2500, (shit)
must stop procrastinating now and get on with it.
Booked the Wildhearts yesterday for next wed at the astoria, thats gonna be class, but i wont be able to hear for days afterwards, meh...
THE BARBS ARE NO.1 !!!!! not in england obviuosly, their single, massive crush is curently no.1 in the philipines for some reason and the band are out there at the mo doing massive gigs and tv and interviews and Amy posed for FHM or summat, all in all quite exciting really :P
in other news, pressing random blog can be dangerous, never do it in polite company, just now in an open acess room i pressed it out of boredom and came across some sort of p0rnblog (scary indeed when there are man y people watching) :S

So maybe things aren't as bad as they seemed
but i still have no idea where i stand on the Kayleigh front, should be seeing her on friday, hope to sort everything out then.
Y'see the other night i got fed up with all the ambiguity and sent her a text message telling her how i felt, fully expecting to never hear from her again (except maybe to hear she's had a restraining order taken out) however next morning i get
"Thanx 4 sayin dat, it mad me fel wantd. U goin out 2nite? xxx"
once i'd translated that i was naturally quite excited, however the awkward thing was i was going out that night with my mate Jack to a pub in gillingham, quite a way from Walderslade where she lives and beyond her own means to get there. I'd have offered a lift, if any of us had a car.
"never mind" says she "cnt get ther, fink ill just stay in 2nte c u sum uva time xxx"
BUGGER
Not to mention when jack saw the photo of her i have on me camera he then loudly and repeatedly expressed his own desires in the Kayleigh department and browbeat me into agreeing to tell him when i was seeing her again. to which i remnded him of his desire for the girl he sees on the bus, and he shut up.
On a Completely different subject, while this is funny, this guy needs to get himself laid, desperately

endlessly ascending-Now in CG
our production was well recieved, the guys did do a good job finishing off after i had left *relief*
going to see bad santa instead of Shaolin soccer 2nite as the latter has been delayed till APRIL! if there ever was a movie cursed by delays it was this one (it was released in asia 4 YEARS AGO!)
from where i'm sitting i can see canterbury cathedral looming over the city, in fact you can usually see it no matter where you are, it sort of dominates the landscape around here, need photos

i think i may have blown it, i asked her out on friday and she turned me down (not exactly, it's more complicated than that when it makes more sense to me i'll fill you all in)

really don't wanna go to uni 2day, will b watching our first video productions as a group and i've yet to see the finished version of ours as i had to leave early yesterday and so the first time i see it will be in front of the whole group.
still got christmas shopping to do for mum and sis and cards for all the rest, and an essay which i haven't started for the 7th and i've got to prepare for my radio production AND book the wildhearts for me and dan
all in all a bit shit recently and i'm still completely preoccupied with Kayleigh,
damn it all...

neglect
i can't believe simon and lianne think i've forgotten about them just because they're on the other side of the world (Hull, sheffield), i would never do such a thing. :(
n e way, saw the incredibles on saturday.
THAT FILM IS FUCKIN GENIUS! WATCH IT NOW!
ahem...excuse me, what i mean to say is i rather enjoyed the subtle interplay between the characters and the extensive use of intertextual reference and parody to genrate humour and pleasure of the text for the viewer (particular note should be paid to the sequence apeing the speeder chase from return of the jedi) not to mention that the animation IS KICK ASS i..i mean, considerable effort has been placed by the animators into crafting a wonderful plethora of visual delights for the audience.
i'm worn out now, time to rest my brain

Happy birthday to me!
happy birthday to me...
I am now 19! huzzah!
Went out to the tap 'n' tin on friday to celbratorise and had a great time as met most of my mates there (except for the sadly absent paul, kev and dicketts, who dont' like the tap much) Particularly pleased to run into Kayleigh (whom i am most ferociously attracted to, sadly she has a boyfriend, more fool her :S)
Got Halo 2 as a present, finally out after a delay of more than a year and boy was it worth the wait! problem is, cos i can't stop playing i may finish too soon and lose all the novelty waay too quickly, ah well
Also recieved the Wildhearts strike back and the best of Def Leppard from My little sister and Paul respectively. cheers guys!

The end is nigh
as i write this there are about seven hours until the polls close in the US presidential elections and i've got a baaad feeling bush is gonna force it again with a little help from his brother in florida and his cousin in the supreme court.
thing is, would the world be any better if Kerry won? nope. the problem in the US is much bigger than one president, you'd still have all the coporate assholes making everyone slives a misery, and the republicans would be even more dirty in oppositon than they are in government,
plus if bush is kicked out, who will the dead ringers guy do impersonations of?
ah well
