Media Studies-Does it kick ass or suck it?

The answer being who the fuck knows? which is in itself a question but is also an answer so i've now thrown meself into a continuity vortex of paradoxical stuff................bugger.

The reason i ask is, after have spent week after tedious week analysing bits of adverts, we finally get to choose two texts of our own to present to the class, What have i chosen i hear you cry!

ONLY AKIRA AND THE ANIMATRIX! i'm going to have so much fun talking about culturural imperialism and synergy and cross media fertilisation and japsploitation and homogenisation of genre and all sorts of bollocks like that.

Now it occurs to me that the casual observer may now have some puzzling questions which i present here...

question What i meant by that was, if media studies is so tedious, why do you do it?
BobBecause it ain't usually and i do it so i can do film radio and television stuides at uni and make movis and become famous and win an oscar and get knighted and stufff....
