Found this on Fence thank you to her.

1. If you want to participate, leave a comment below saying interview me.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions - each persons will be different.
3. You will update your journal / blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview others in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1) Jedi or Sith? (what can I say, it is in the news and so in my brain)
Jedi, what can i say i'm too much of a goody goody for anything else. though i think Darth Vader is the dude (David Prose/James Earl Jones not the whiney teenager).

2) What is your fav. song? And why?
this changes a lot, but i'll always love ride on by AC/DC. It's so different to any of their other songs in terms of style but it kept the same old themes from a slightly different angle. Plus it really struck a chord with me when i first heard it, as i had just gone through woman trouble myself.

3) Why is the world a wonderful place (or not)?
The world sucks because the man is messing it up for everybody, it's only a few people in the world that can truly be described as wonderful.

4) If life is like a box of chocolates, what sweet are you living right now?

Roses or Quality Street? :P I am a fudge finger, oh-so wrong yet strangely compelling.

5) What is life in “The Village” really like?
The Midgets freak me out, but aside from the constant abductions and druggings i don't mind at all. p.s. number two is a bastard! p.p.s. it took me while to work out the meaning of this question, can't even remember me own alias!

Eventful Saturday-an oxymoron surely?

00.00-Still at tap n tin, have rendered myself very tired and emotional due to excessive Jack Daniels consumption. John is equally pissed, kev is on the coke on account of he's driving me home gawd bless 'im! We have spent a large portion of the evening headbanging on the 3rd floor, and the rest sitting in the garden talking about star wars and then wondering why we are all still single (a no brainer surely?).

01.00-Kev has driven me home, i am just about to fall asleep.

01.01-04.58 asleep

04.58 have a short dream, something about a canoe.

04.58-07.00 asleep

07.00 woken up by alarm radio, motorhead, at seven in the morning, to a guy with a hangover. oh god.

08.10 go up the road to get some money

08.30 picked up by paul

09.00 enter cinema to see stupidly early showing of Star Wars episode III. Bright lights hurt my delicate eyes, loud noises hurt my delicate ears, and my neck aches from the headbanging, oh god.

11.45ish Star Wars has finished, all agree is ace, but still not as good as the old movies. something is still missing. i explain that the old films still posess an elusive x-factor (or as i called it, the "not written or directed by George Lucas" factor) as i much as i love him for giving us the original idea for star wars, i despise his amateurish efforts at filmaking recently.

13.00 after lunch adjourn to paul's for gaming, viewing of films etc. after a while Paul grabs his two wooden training swords off the wall "c'mon Rob lets go outside!" says he, "uuuuhhhhh, i have a hangover!" says i, a convincing argument if ever there was one, paul relents.

14.01 i lied. We are outside going through basic samurai sword moves. At first easy stuff an overweight non sporting type like me can manage, left and right for example, and butterfly spinning, dead easy even if i would have accidentally cut me own leg orf. then paul says "okay lets do this move, then this, then this, then i want you to try a tornado."
"a what?" says i. "oh," says Paul, "one of these..." and whirls the sword around and around like a fucking dervish. "okay now you try..."

i lost an ear. i am of course lying.

16.30- Arrive home, limbs are aching even more but surprisingly i had fun, and began practising with my own sword for a while on arrival.

20.00 i am watching eurovision. essentially i treat it like an extra long edition of eurotrash without the naked old people or annoying frenchman. I.E. i can laugh at the foolishness of foreigners without the bizarre overdubbing. no, wait. that's what wogan is for! We did badly again, no accounting for taste. or perhaps Javine should have fallen out of her dress again, we would have at least got the italian vote.
i still reckon Moldova should have won, or at least Norway.

23.10 going to bed, i am still hung over...

Kingdom of heaven/The Jacket

saw two films with the gang this weekend that i thought were worth a mention. (unlike the truly abominable xXx2:The next pissing level which i was dragged to last week)

Kingdom of Heaven- In Summary, great but not quite as great as gladiator. Too much a clone of the latter to really leap out and grab you by the balls with surprise. Plus as much as dear old Ridley tries, he doesn't get any of those wondeful soundbites quite right. There's nothing to match 'Are you not entertained?' or 'Shadows and dust'.
However i do believe in places the visuals begin to surpass what gladiator did, after all, that didn't have nearly so much scale in terms of the battles depicted therin. The seige of Jerusalem is handled very well, as is the battle out in the desert. well worth a look.

The Jacket- now that's what i'm talking about! this was much more my sort of thing altogether. In Fact, money no object, Red Morning light may well have come out very similar to the jacket, admittedly only five minutes long but similar none the less. Adrein Brody seems to be very good at playing the emaciated wreck, he did it in the pianist and he's doing it again here. And Keira Knightleys american acent proves surprisingly good and rather amourous to boot (*letch letch*)
Go see, and ignore any shit reviews, they don't know what their on about.

labour percentage of popular vote- 32%

labour percentage of seats in parliament- 56%

(all figures very approximate, my memory fails me)

Explain to me again how that is a fair electoral system.

When people understand the power of love, instead of the love of power, the world will be at peace
So sayeth St Jimi of Hendrix

ahh, politics! how tiresome. Voted this morning. Lib Dem, of course, not because i beleive it'll make a difference but simply to contribute to the fucking up of parliament. y'see if the polls are to be believed then the end result is gonna be a labour majority but not an overall majority, meaning tony will now have to keep his back benchers happy to get motions passed at all. labour will still be the biggest party but now they'll be outnumbered by the other parties combined. How curious.
i 'eagerly' await the results of the election tonight. Lets hope for a hung parliament!

More importantly, saw the barbs again last sunday, at my beloved watering hole The Command House (second only to the tap n tin) apparently there were bands on all throught the mayday weekend, i of course was only there for the one. sitting at the front, cheering wildly in a crowd of four! (us fans!) they played new songs, which excited me greatly, though the band themselves were less enthusiastic, claiming they needed more work before they were fully finished and added to the set.
Two words summed up this gig for me, tough. crowd. despite our best efforts not too many fans turned up and while the public were not hostile, neither were they overly excited by the music, they were polite. role on the next one (AT THE TAP N TIN!).

plugplugplug

Dan and i have set up another joint venture, which we have rather humbly named the Medway Music Authority. a source of reviews of gigs and bands and stuff. if you have anything to contribute (i.e. a link or band you'd like reviewed or something) leave a comment on there and i'll get on it as soon as i can be arsed.

cheers
